Where French immersion meets academic excellence!

A dual-language immersion program based on the French Ministry of Education curriculum

French School of Austin – or Ecole Jean-Jacques Rousseau – is a private, independent, bilingual school for students from preschool to Grade 8.

Located in North Austin, French School of Austin has given students a bilingual preparatory education since 2005. The school offers a multicultural, multi-language learning environment where instruction is given in French and English, with an optional third language track in Arabic, Spanish, or Mandarin.

The school curricula are based on the guidelines of the French Ministry of Education and the Texas Education Agency, while supplemented by the essential elements advanced in American private-school education. By the end of middle school, this dual approach produces academically-adept, bilingual students, proficient in both English and French and a third language.

This week, our little artists in the "Moyenne Section" class had a blast creating their very own 3D stick figures! Using simple materials like paper, scissors, and glue, the children brought their "Bonhommes" to life in a fun and hands-on way. This activity not only encouraged creativity but also helped develop fine motor skills, spatial awareness, and an understanding of shapes and proportions. 🌟✨ Check out their colorful and imaginative creations! 🎉#PreschoolArt #CreativeKids #3DCraft #BonhommeEnVolume #EarlyLearning
🌟 In our Moyenne section, we had a fantastic time at the "Atelier des Lignes" activity! The little ones dived into a world of creativity as they used flour to draw and create different lines and shapes. 🌈✨ Watching their imaginations come to life was truly inspiring! They explored textures, practiced their fine motor skills, and had so much fun making beautiful patterns. Learning through play is what we love most! ❤️ Can't wait for our next adventure! #MaternelleMagic #CreativeLearning #ArtInEarlyEducation
