At Ecole Jean-Jacques Rousseau, our school performing arts director, and curriculum advisor, Madame Louali, strongly believes that the successful acquisition of French language, reading and writing depends on a solid background in oral language skills. What better way to gain knowledge and confidence in oral language than through music, theater and poems? Oral language is an interactive and social process, and music is a natural way for children to experience rich language in a pleasurable way. Christmas Carols, French popular songs, French plays, violin and guitar recitals are part of the small selection here of videos of some of our past performances.
