Ecole Jean-Jacques Rousseau welcomes students every year from Pre-Kindergarten through 8th grade, subject to classroom and space availability. The school admits students from all walks of life and prides itself on the diversity of its student body; it does not discriminate on the basis of sex, race, religion or national origin.
The school’s academic excellence, diversity, and renowned bilingual curriculum, which offers an attractive alternative to standard American private schools, has made it an increasingly popular choice in recent years.
All prospective parents and students are encouraged to visit and get to know the school, its environment, programs and curriculum through our informative Open House visits.
The school offers two informational sessions in the fall and spring for the Early Childhood Program (‘l’école maternelle’), which includes Toddlers, Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten levels. Parents applying to enroll their child in this program the following fall are encouraged to attend these informational sessions, as they give a unique opportunity to tour the school, visit the classrooms and meet the teachers.
For the upper grades (Grades 1-8), we do not offer open houses, since admission is case by case basis. However, group tours can be organized and private meetings can be scheduled by calling in advance or by sending an email inquiry to info@frenchschoolofaustin.org.
