This year’s astonishing result are EJJR’s best performance ever : 12 participating students, 2 First Texas Prizes, 11 National Honor Roll Medalists, 1 Honorable Mention. Although we had Honor Roll Medalists since our first year participating in the National Math Contest, back in 2015, this year we have Honor Roll Medalists in EVERY grade. Honor Roll Medalists represent the top 10% nationally. We, also, had over the years a First Texas Prize, depending on the school year. This year, we have two First Texas Prizes in Grade 7 and Grade 5, and every competing grade (2 and up) has an Honor Roll Medalist who scored in second, third or fourth position. 

The 2022 National Math Contest sets new participation records this year: our students distinguished themselves among not less than 31,700 participating students, including 697 schools and in all US states this school year. Our Best Year Yet: 12 participating EJJR students, 2 First Texas Prizes, 11 National Honor Roll Medalists, 1 Honorable Mention.
