The National Math Contest this year welcomed 40,874 mathletes from 816 schools across all 47 states. The cutoff score for the National Honor Roll — representing the top 10% of each grade/category — was 80 for Grades 3, 4, 5, and 7.
Out of seven EJJR participants, five earned National Honor Roll Medals, placing them among the top 10% nationally, and two ranked within the top 50% for their respective grades earning the Honorable Mention. Here are their outstanding results, both nationally and within the state of Texas:
- Cian M (Grade 5): 1st Score Place with a perfect score
- Bianca R (Grade 4): 2nd Score Place
- Zavian R (Grade 3): 5th Score Place
- Sacha L (Grade 3): Honorable Mention
- Micha R (Grade 3): Honorable Mention
With 71% of our participants achieving National Honor Roll status, this is yet another outstanding accomplishment for EJJR students!
Congratulations to all our students for their hard work and success. Here’s to another year of excellence at the National Math Contest!
